Can loan money be taken in a divorce?

I have student loan money in a savings account, which is simply for the purpose of going to school. My wife has said she is having papers drawn up today to dissolve the marriage, and I need to know if I should move that money or leave it in a savings account. I am the only signer on the account. Can they order me to split that with her?
