Do u think that long books like eragon should be shorter?

I disagree with you. I've read all of the Eragon books and Harry Potter series, His Dark Materials. I think these books are great that they are this long. That way the author can put in every little thing that needs to be said about a situation or feeling. It also gives the freedom of having multiple mini-adventures that may not have to do with the overall plot. I think if the book is a solid book, then length does not bother me one bit.
